The Sounds of Easter: what we hear as we live in the resurrection until Jesus returns
| We hear... | How we live... |
|---|---|
| Sound of Peace and Forgiveness | We live in faith that our sins are forgiven and we have peace with God. We believe because we have heard the testimony of the Apostles. |
| The sound of fish being pulled into the boat | We live in the safety of the Church and bring others into it as well |
| The voice of our Shepherd | We remain steadfast in God's Word |
| The command: love one another | We live in love for one another |
| The Father hears the sound of our prayers | We live in prayer with confidence that God hears our cries for help and answers us |
| The preaching of repentance and forgiveness | We live in repentance and seek forgiveness in the Sacraments; absolution, Baptism, Communion |
| Jesus praying for us | We have comfort in times of persecution and affliction |
| The Gospel being preached in all languages | We live in mission and spread the Gospel to all nations |
